Cookie Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how InvoiceTV uses them, and how you can control them.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites you visit. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to site owners. Cookies can be “session” cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or “persistent” cookies (remaining until they expire or you delete them).

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Essential Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function properly. They enable core functionality such as page navigation and saving your invoice drafts in local storage. These cannot be disabled.

  • invoicetv_cookie_consent — Stores your cookie consent preference. Duration: 1 year.
  • invoicetv_draft / invoicetv_inv_counter — Stores your invoice draft and counter in localStorage (not technically a cookie, but local browser storage). Duration: until cleared by you.

2.2 Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with our website. These cookies collect information in an anonymized form, including the number of visitors, where visitors come from, and the pages they visit.

  • _ga — Distinguishes unique users. Duration: 2 years.
  • _ga_* — Used to persist session state. Duration: 2 years.
  • _gid — Distinguishes unique users. Duration: 24 hours.

2.3 Marketing Cookies

InvoiceTV does not currently use marketing or advertising cookies. If this changes, we will update this policy and request your consent.

3. How to Manage Cookies

You can control and manage cookies in several ways:

  • Browser Settings: Most browsers allow you to refuse or accept cookies, delete existing cookies, and set preferences for certain websites. Check your browser’s help section for instructions.
  • Cookie Banner: When you first visit InvoiceTV, a cookie consent banner allows you to accept or decline non-essential cookies.
  • Google Analytics Opt-Out: You can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being used by Google Analytics.

Please note that disabling cookies may affect the functionality of InvoiceTV, particularly the ability to save invoice drafts.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies on behalf of InvoiceTV. Google’s use of data collected through these cookies is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.

5. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
